Our Mission
About SG Special School
S.G. Special School is a school for the mentally and physically challenged children. This Special School is managed by S.G. Charitable Society (Reg.No.T717/1999). Government of Kerala has also recognized the school and given annual grant towards running expenses of the school. The special school enable, encourage and empower mentally and physically disabled children, most of them hail from poverty stricken inner tribal settlements of Agastyar Koodam hill range.
At present there are 106 mentally and physically challenged students in our school, in the age group of 3 to 57, with varying degrees of disabilities, including totally bed ridden and incapable of doing anything by themselves. We believe that if enabled, these children can be as creative and productive as anybody else in the Society.
